This guy Tweets @Joedotie for the first time this morning with some brilliant #LFC legend impressions, 6 hours later he's on Stage in front of 300 Liverpool & Spurs  fans at our big #UCL with @PepsiMax tonight at @DtwoNightclub in Dublin. Love it.

Rory McIlroy is in the market for a new longterm caddie, and his list of demands is … interesting.

Well, the demands of a McIlroy impressionist are. Steven Connolly put together a video dubbing over what McIlroy said in a recent press conference regarding a future caddie with his own impression of McIlroy.

In this terrific parody, Connolly used that dub to make it seem like McIlroy was offering bizarre criteria about his next longterm bag toter….

Impressionist Steven Connolly recorded a pretty good impression of the world number four talking about his mandatory nickname, his preferred on-course chat and the other duties a caddie should fulfil away from the golf course.

….

Are any of those attributes McIlroy would desire in a caddie? Thanks to this solid dub from Golf Central Daily, we now know exactly what “Rory” wants.

Steven Connolly had the brilliant idea of dubbing over a McIlroy press conference from last week's PGA Championship in which Rory answered questions about his next bag man following the firing of longtime looper J.P. Fitzgeraled. Instead of giving serious answers like McIlroy did, Connolly came up with his own, um, creative set of criteria. And the phrase "spot on" doesn't even do the video justice. See it, an more importantly, hear it for yourself:

Good sports humour is oddly hard to find at times, but if you look around YouTube, you can find some quality stuff.
Golf wise, a guy called Steven Connolly has been making me laugh of late. His press conference parody stuff is absolute gold!

We've seen some cracking impersonations of golf professionals before, but few rival this one. Quite literally.
Steven Connolly, who goes by the Twitter name @NotReallyGMac, is as his name suggests, a Graeme McDowell impersonator. And a fine one at that.

Fairways of Life

Matt Adams

This was a real treat for me, Matt Adams is a New York Times best selling author so to get a shout-out on his show and to play my Fake Aftershave advert was cool. Fairways of Life is the largest and the most widely distributed daily live golf talk show in the world. Unfortunately  they only keep the last 6 months podcasts so I must see if I can get a copy of it somewhere.

Ricky Gervais

I made an Oscars Parody video with Ricky Gervais "starring in it" so when he blessed it on Twitter it shot the views of it to almost 80,000 . I Love Ricky Gervais.

Easily the comedy highlight of the week at the Irish Open is the parody Padraig Harrington aftershave commercial.

Produced by master Harrington voice impersonator Steven Connolly, the commercial parodies the recent "scent" released by Darren Clarke.

Everybody thought it was real!

....Steven Connolly, had the good idea to make speak for us Irish on his list of selection criteria. And the least we can say is that this list is quite ... special! We let you discover it with the video below, if you understand the language of Shakespeare.

Balls.ie: Padraig Harrington has been a breath of fresh air in the commentary booth for Sky Sports during The Masters, and fans have been raving about his commentary since his debut on Friday night...

....The inflection on 'Harrington..' is absolutely spot on. The David Feherty isn't half bad either.

If i'm being honest I don't like this video but was very happy to get the coverage from such a big and cool Irish website

It is unclear what McIlroy is looking for in a caddie but impressionist Steven Connolly has had a go at deciphering what the Northern Irishman wants in a parody video

Padraig Harrington

This is the Parody Padraig Harrington aftershave advert I made while on my holidays last June. I gave the video to Golf Central Daily who showed it to the man himself he liked it so much he posted it suggesting the Dubai Duty Free should stock it .I'll be honest, when Harrington posted my video I turned into a giddy chid - he's my favourite Irish sports person.

And in case you’re wondering, this guy isn’t a one-trick pony. The Dublin-based Connolly also pulls off Padraig Harrington in this imagined phone call from Sergio Garcia after the two reportedly patched things up at McIlroy’s wedding:

this McIlroy parody is so good that we do not want to withhold it from you.

Steven Connolly put some extremely funny words in his mouth. When asked what his new caddy needs to meet in terms of requirements, McIlroy said, "When I talk, he can not look me in the eye." Or to fulfill another boss cliché: "If I make a joke, he has to laugh."

Steven Connolly’s video trickery has established his parodies as the entertainment of the moment
